Here are the answers to some of our Frequently Asked Questions. (in no particular order)
- Q. I ordered some Rada cutlery and received a delivery confirmation number, but when I track my order, all I get is The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 4, to expect your package for mailing.
A. The post office does not generally provide tracking information. This number is a delivery confirmation number and may not show any information until the package is delivered. Most knife orders ship via priority mail inside the US. If your order shipped over 7 days ago, then you may want to send us an e-mail and we will look into the matter.
- Q. I received an order update saying my address was not recognized by the post office and I have lived here for several years.
A.We print our mailing labels online and access the Post office database to confirm the address. If your home is new construction, or the address has changed recently, then it may not be in the database yet. We know you are anxious to receive your fine Rada cutlery and all we ask is that you confirm that you get your mail at the address you provided so we can eliminate any shipping delays.
- Q. How do I get a Rada cutlery catalog sent to me.
A. We would love to send everyone a free catalog, but the cost of shipping is quite prohibitive. This page: http://myknifestore.net/rada-catalog-p-369.html shows you how to purchase a Rada catalog and also how to download one for free.
- Q. I need my knives shipped in a hurry, but you have no option at checkout for express or overnight shipping.
A. Our shopping cart charges shipping based upon dollar value for US orders and by weight for Canadian orders. We generally ship our knives and other items via priority mail. Larger items may ship UPS. You may call us and request express shipping, but this service is extremely expensive. We will calculate the actual shipping charges incurred and let you know before processing your order.
- Q. I don't like using my credit card online. What are my alternatives?
A. We can take your knife order over the phone and process the card manually, or you may mail your check or money order to My Knife Store. be sure to include the appropriate shipping fee and either a printout of your shopping cart or a written list of knives and quantities. We do use SSL on our checkout pages and our server is scanned regularly to test our site's security, so entering your card information into our checkout pages is quite safe.
